What is Success To You?
How does a freelancer measure success? Is it in terms of clients, successful marketing campaigns, productivity, successful projects or increased levels of income.
Is it the number of clients you serve each month? Or could it be the number of repeat clients streaming back for your services? How about your marketing strategies? Is your marketing campaign bringing in your target clients? Is your referral system and word-of-mouth marketing working in your favour?
Is it transitioning from handling ‘small clients’ to ‘big clients’? How about getting rave remarks and comments about your last project? Are your clients keeping you awake all night long as you diligently work on their projects?
Is your new found ‘freedom’ and ‘independence’ as a freelancer being reflected in your personal life? Are you still at pains to explain to your loved ones what you really do? Or, do they envy you now for finding your pot of gold with a secret tag attached to it?
What really defines success to a freelancer?
